84 Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus In Udupi District On July 21
Udupi: 84 Coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Udupi district on July 21, taking the total number of positive cases to 2405.
The number of active cases in the district has now gone up to 653. So far, 1742 patients have been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery, and 12 persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in the district.
As of now, 481 throat swab samples are pending for results, 455 samples were sent for testing on July 21. On July 21, 103 samples have tested negative. As of now, a total of 22460 swab samples out of the 25346 have tested negative for the coronavirus.
All the 84 persons are shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
