Mangaluru: “We request all the organizations and the people to maintain peace in the society. I request the police department not to trouble the people by entering their houses and arresting them during the night. We will fully co-operate with the police department. Unfortunately, some untoward incidents took place today and two persons lost their lives. I don’t know how this happened”, said Central Committee leader K S Mohammed Masood in a press meet held at the Mangaluru East Police Station here on December 19.

Now since curfew is imposed in Mangaluru I request all the people of our community to obey the law. If such incidents take place, we will intervene and solve them. Students and the youth should think of today’s incident and keep safe without involving themselves in such incidents. We have lost the lives of two persons Jalil (49) from Kanduka and Nausheen (23) from Kudroli. Police commissioner Dr Harsha has assured to co-operate with us till the funeral rites are completed”.
