Dr Venkat Rao was an extremely kind and patient surgeon. His name was synonymous with Kankanady Hospital. He has performed thousands of surgeries in his career. Unfortunately he succumbed to a hematological malignancy . He had trained many juniors under him.
It is indeed an honour for any surgeon to get award in this great surgeon’s name.
