Passenger from Dubai Admitted to Wenlock free of Coronavirus

Mangaluru: A passenger who arrived from Dubai was taken to the Government Wenlock Hospital after he was found having fever and cold and suspected of being infected by the Coronavirus on March 8.

On March 9, the patient was missing from the hospital. When team Mangalorean contacted hospital authorities, they said, “The passenger who had arrived from Dubai was having a fever and cold. As a precautionary measure, the airport authorities sent him to the Government Wenlock Hospital. But after undergoing all the tests, he was found negative for the Corona Virus.”

The authorities further said, “Normally people having a common cold and cough, sometimes also have a high temperature. We cannot say that everyone having a cough and fever are affected by the Coronavirus. All the tests were carried out were negative for the Coronavirus. The patient was feeling uneasy and left the hospital without informing anyone. We have all his contact details.”
