A Father’s Love is Forever

Spread the love

?None of you can ever be proud enough of being the child of such a Father who has not his equal in this world- so great, so good, so faultless. Try all of you, to follow in his footsteps and don’t be discouraged, for to be really in everything like him none of you, I am sure, will ever be. Try, therefore, to be like him in some points, and you will have acquired a great deal.?

It seems that honoring a father comes much harder than honoring a mother. The reason behind this also seems unclear.

?You know, fathers just have a way of putting everything together.?

Fathers seem to be the ones that work only for the greater good; not the acknowledgement that may come with it.

?I grew up to have my father’s looks – my fathers speech patterns – my father’s posture – my father’s walk – my father’s opinions and my mother’s contempt for my father.?

However, while many fathers live without being recognized, Father?s Day gives us a one day excuse to spoil the one that always spoils us. This is the one time of the year that he has to accept your gifts, whether it?s your love or a new tie, and he can automatically understand the meaning behind it.

?When I was a girl of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.?

This is our opportunity to finally put him first; to appreciate the things that our one and only Dads have done for us. Whether we buy him a gift, finally talk to him after months, or recollect on past memories, this Father?s Day is our chance to give back the love that they?ve been giving since the first time we ever opened our eyes.

?Blessed indeed is the man who hears many gentle voices call him father.?
