Mangaluru: It’s official that Nalin Kumar Kateel is the candidate from DK to contest on the BJP ticket in DK for the forthcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections- and the election campaign kicked off this morning, Monday, 25 March 2019 at the BJP Election Campaign Office, located near Bunts Hostel on Kadri Road, Mangaluru- and after the formal function, BJP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel escorted by MLA of Karkal Sunil Kumar and few other BJP leaders went to file his nomination.
A large number of BJP party workers and supporters, along with BJP leaders had gathered at the BJP Election Campaign office, where the election campaign project was inaugurated, after which BJP Candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel filed his nomination. With slogans raised by the crowd like ” Bolo Bharath Matha Ki Jai”; “Vande Matharam”, “Phir Ek Bhar Modi Sarkar”, “BJP KI Jai”, “Narendra Modi Ki Jai”, etc, Nalin Kumar Kateel received a standing ovation as he walked up to the stage.
The welcome address was delivered by BJP MLA from Putur Sanjeeva Matandoor, where he urged the people to elect a candidate who will bring changes in the development. He further said, “In 2009 an ordinary BJP party worker rose to power and today is one of the top MP, and we are all proud to have him as a candidate for the forthcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Nalin Kumar Kateel’s win is sure, making it a hat-trick. Like our Desh Jitega with Modi at the helm, here our DK Jitega with Nalin as our man. Let Kateel be the Chowkidar of DK, just like Modi of India! We have already started our work, and in the future days it will go on full swing, with an aim to win this election”.
Speaking more about the achievements and candidature of Nalin K Kateel, MLA Sunil Kumar said, “Today is indeed a Festival of Democracy. April 18 will be yet another history in DK, where Nalin Kumar Kateel will emerge as a hat-trick winner in the LS elections. This will be a great election, unlike the ones we had in the past. Looking at all the developmental and changes done to our country, why not have Narendra Modi once again as our PM. Even senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary has said that Modi will win, also that Nalin Kumar Kateel will win, so its not a joke. We need to commend the action taken by PM Modi in crushing the terrorist camp. We need a strong leader like Narendra Modi to run our nation again, and we need a dynamic person like Nalin Kateel to be our MP again”.
After the inauguration done by lighting the lamp by Nalin Kumar Kateel joined by other dignitaries on the dais, Nalin Kumar Kateel addressing the party workers and supporters said, “You all gave me a chance in 2009 to be your leaders, and now once again I solicit your humble support to elect me as your leader again. I won’t be able to visit every house in DK requesting for your support, instead, I am making a humble request right here from this stage that your valuable vote will mean a lot to me, so make me your candidate to win in the LS elections. I have been praised by various media about my achievements and works, and they have also ranked me for my accomplishments”.
“Even a few people are degrading me, but I know that people will have full faith in me and make me win to be their hardworking and dedicated MP again. During the PM Narendra Modi tenure, I was able to get Rs 16,520 crore in financial aid to DK, way much more than DK got during PM Manmohan Singh? During my 10 years tenure, I have worked corrupt free, and I will swear in front of any God about this. I have completed various projects, and a few very important projects will be completed soon, including IT Park, etc. There will surely be Modi Tsunami in DK. Give me one more chance to serve, and I will assure the best service from my side” added Nalin Kumar Kateel.
BJP leaders Monappa Bhandary, Capt Ganesh Karnik, Krishna J Palemar, Mangaluru MLA’s Vedavyas Kamath, and Dr Bharath Shetty, Capt Brijesh Chowta, Yogish Bhat, Kota Srinivas Poojary, BJP MLA’s from other neighbouring places, BJP Mahila Morcha leader Ms Bharathi Shetty, were among many present during the occasion.
