A J Hospital and Research Centre Observes International Yoga Day

Mangaluru: The International Day of Yoga was observed for three days, at A J and Research Centre. On this occasion, the President of the Sharada Group of Institutions Dr M B Puranik, officially opened an Outpatient Department dedicated to Yoga and Naturopathy. Additionally in attendance were Dr Prashanth Marla, MD, and Dr Amitha P Marla, DMA from A J Hospital and Research Centre.

Along with Dr Nandeesh N S, Principal & CMO, and Dr Bhavana M, Assistant Professor & RMO Sharada Yoga and Naturopathy Hospital and Research Centre, these luminaries graced the official program.

In collaboration with A J Hospital and Research Centre, Sharada Yoga, and Naturopathy Hospital and Research Centre has been working to improve society’s overall health by attempting to combine traditional methods of healing like yoga and naturopathy with the allopathic medical system.

Speaking to the group, Dr M B Puranik discussed the value of health in old age and the ways that Sharada Yoga and Naturopathy Hospital and Research Centre can support the welfare of the elderly population. He provided numerous examples to motivate the elderly.

Later, Dr Prashanth Marla persuaded the audience with his speech, explaining and warmly inviting Sharada Yoga and Naturopathy Hospital and Research Centre to become a part of their Institute.

The official program was beautifully coordinated and hosted by the students of Masters of Hospital Administration.

On the occasion of the 10th International Day of Yoga Day, participants in the Vriddhi Programme (A program for the aged) received a successful yoga session from 11 am to 12 pm.
