Udupi: “A Leader like Vinay Kumar Sorake is a big asset to the state. If we create another leader like Sorake it will take at least 25 years “, said the State energy minister and also the Congress election campaign committee chairperson D K Shivakumar.

He was speaking at the party workers meet at Rajeev Bhavan Kaup, on Wednesday, May 2. Vinay Kumar Sorake has carried out the overall development of Kaup Assembly constituency in the last 5 years of his tenure. The people of Kaup should elect him for another term. Sorake has spent all his time for the development of his constituency as well as for the betterment of the people.

After senior leader Janardhan Poojary, Vinay Kumar Sorake has filled his place and worked effectively. To give a chance to senior leader Kagodu Thimmappa, Sorake sacrificed his ministership. It shows that he is a role model for all the politicians. The People of Kaup should elect Sorake with huge margin of votes, he said.

Kaup Congress candidate Vinay Kumar Sorake said that DK Shivakumar had solved the biggest problem of UPCL in his constituency. Earlier the UPCL was not providing 24 hours power supply to his constituency but after DK Shivakumar became the energy minister he fulfilled our demand, he said.

Film actor Sadhu Kokila also spoke on the occasion and appealed to the workers to convince the people about the development work done by the Congress government.
