ABHM Registered but Not Recognized Party, to Contest Under Saffron Front – Subramanya Raju

Mangaluru: The Akhila Bharat Hindu Mahasabha will contest the Assembly elections from 30 constituencies. Hindu means the way of life and all Indians are Hindus. We have selected candidates who have worked for Hinduism. We will contest the elections under the banner of the Saffron Front”, said the state president of the Hindu Mahasabha N Subramanya Raju in a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands here on April 20.

Addressing the mediapersons Subramanya said, “The other political parties are giving the ticket to those who have money and with money power elections are being contested. But the Hindu Mahasabha is different from other political parties because it is a registered organization since 1912. We are a registered organization but have not been recognized as a party”.

Subramanya Raju further said, “In the previous elections we all worked for the BJP to win, Yeddyurappa became the chief minister and went to jail in corruption case. This time former Justice Santhosh Hedge is very much sad that the BJP again announced Yeddyurappa as the CM candidate. Even in the North constituency, the BJP MLA was caught while watching blue film in the assembly while an important discussion was going on. This election is very important to all of us and we have decided to contest the elections from 30 constituencies.”

Subramanya also said, “We will form the Saffron Front in two days and contest the elections. Shiva Sena, Mohan Gowda, Hindu Jana Jagruti Samiti, Sampoorna Bharatiya Kranti Party and Sri Rama Sene together with us will contest the elections. Within two days we will announce our symbol for elections.”

Hindu Mahasabha leaders Pavithran, Lohith, Dharmendra and others were also present.
