Abu Dhabi: Bearys Welfare Forum has urged the Karnataka government to ensure a consensus among all political parties for the smooth and secure implementation of the e-ballot voting system, and to make necessary amendments in the law to enable NRIs to cast postal and e-ballots during polls in India.
Padmashree Dr B R Sheety, MD NMC group of companies; Asif, MD Amaco group, Saudi Arabia, Mohamed Ali Uchil, Abdulla Madumoole, Rafeeq Krishnapur, Siddik Uchil, Ismail and Irfan from BWF were present.
U T Khader, Minister for health and Family welfare, Karnataka, during his whirlwind tour of Abu Dhabi met Kanndiga’s and business people.
The minister Inaugurated the “Karnataka Priyadarshini Forum” and interacted with Coastal Kanndiga’s. He also met Dr B R Shetty and Dr Shamsher Valapil, MD of LLH Group. A meeting was also held with the officials of India Social and Cultural Center.
