Accident led to Altercation between Two Groups in Kuthar – Police Commissioner

Mangaluru: “An accident took place between two cars, an Alto and Honda City on April 13 night. Soon after the accident, both the car drivers started to argue, at the same time passengers from 3 buses alighted and gathered at the spot. Soon an altercation broke out between two groups. Immediately after the accident the ACP and the police who were on duty nearby reached the spot and brought the situation under control”, clarified Police commissioner Sandeep Patel during a press meet held at his office on April 15.

Police commissioner Sandeep Patil also said, “In this connection, we have arrested 7 persons and another 6 will be arrested soon”.

There were rumours that miscreants had pelted stones at a bus while the BJP workers were returning home after attending PM Modi’s rally.

Police commissioner Sandeep Patil clarified that the incident was taken place after an accident involving two cars.
