Ace cinematographer Sachin begins Documentary ‘Lights Camera Ladakh’, rides 13 states on Bullet
Udupi: A coastal brad determined to scale new heights is gearing up to explore 13 states covering 11,000 kms. Sachin Shetty an ace cinematographer will be touring 13 states riding his bullet, documenting lives, culture and tradition. This thunderous ride is called ‘Lights Camera Ladakh’.
Sachin Shetty hails from Kaup, a cinematographer with distinct skills, Shetty loves to ride his bike and travel to distant places. His name is entered in the Limca Book of Records. His dream ride has been launched on May 28.
Sachin will be riding his Royal Enfield Himalayan, he has fitted 4 cameras to his bullet. He will be documenting the life, culture and heritage of the places he passes through, with narration.
The 40 days thunderous ride starts from Udupi reaching Jammu and Kashmir the ride will continue to Kanyakumari and will culminate at Udupi. Sachin has modified the bike to carry clothes, food, toiletries and other stuff. His helmet is fitted with a microphone and camera which transmits data to a hard drive.
Sachin recollects his memories with his father and says that his father used to allow him to ride his motorbike from 5th standard. He also says that he has been regularly visiting other states riding his bike. The total cost of the bike ride is estimated around Rs 1.50 lakhs. He has also received financial assistance for the ride through borrowing from banks and his friends. He also shares his dream of covering all the states.
Sachin will ride to Mumbai and then to Jaislamer, Jaipur, Amruthsar, Jammu, Srinagar, Manali, Bhopal, Ajantha Yellora. The documentary will be released in two languages. Famous music director Ricky Kej has asked Sachin to provide the travel footage for his albums. The thunderous ride of Sachin will bring laurels to coastal Karnataka.
