ACP Rajendra-B’luru receives Gold Medal on KS Police Flag Day
ACP Rajendra DS -ACP-Bengaluru receives Gold Medal on Karnataka S Police Flag Day for his active role in nabbing the culprits involved in the Karnataka State Pre-University Chemistry Question paper leak that happened on 23-3-2016.
Mangaluru: Rajendra D S was working as Dy-SP (civil), CID between 22 June 2015 and 9 August 2016, during this period on 21 March 2016, the Karnataka State Pre-University Chemistry question paper leakage issue created furore in the State Legislative Assembly and was highly focused on the social media which made the Karnataka state government feel embarrassed.
Thus a case in Bengaluru Malleshwaram Police Station crime no 37/2016 u/s 454, 457, 380, 120(b) IPC and 3 (2) (4) (5) Karnataka Control of Organized Crimes Act and Ruke 115 R/W Education Act was registered and as per the direction of the Karnataka State government, the investigation was handed over to the CID wing. Thus the investigation was entrusted to Rajendra DS and his quick action and commitment, in this case, resulted in cracking the case by arresting the main accused Shivakumar and his associates Kumaraswami, along with 16 other culprits involved in the racket, which made the State government and the police department proud. This achievement of the State Police was highlighted at the national level.
Recognizing the efforts and dedication in cracking down this case by Rajendra DS, the Karnataka State Police Department conferred the Gold Medal of great achievement on Rajendra during Karnataka State Police Flag Day recently. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah presented the prestigious award to Rajendra DS amidst his family members, relatives, well-wishers, colleagues and a large number of friends.Team Mangalorean congratulates Rajendra Sir for his achievement.
