Adele thinks quitting smoking weakened her voice
London, Sep 24 (IANS) Singer Adele thinks her voice has “weakened” since she quit smoking.
The “Hello” hitmaker, who stopped smoking five years ago as she feared her habit would eventually kill her, shares that her tone has altered a lot since she quit the habit and she is no longer capable of holding the high notes, reports dailymail.co.uk.
“The people with the best voices, they always smoke. I’ve given up smoking and I’m convinced that’s made my voice weaker,” Adele said on the TV show “etalk”.
And working with chain-smoker Bruno Mars on her hit track “All I ask” last year made Adele realise how much she misses smoking.
“Bruno smokes like an old woman. My make-up artist will stink after having a fag. I had never noticed it before,” she said.
