ADIS Celebrates 70th Indian Republic Day
UAE: Abu Dhabi Indian School, Muroor organized a grand function to celebrate the 70th Indian Republic Day and to highlight Gandhiji’s 150th Birth Anniversary and UAE’s “Year of Tolerance” to spread the message of brotherhood, tolerance, Unity in Diversity and women empowerment through various shows involving more than 900 students, parents and teachers.
The spectacular show included March past and drills, Yoga, Karate by girls, speeches, Dances of more than 12 states and UAE synchronized so well, Patriotic songs by students, teachers and parents and the mesmerizing Bharathnatyam performance by Rohan Thomas and an impressive Republic Day message from the School Principal Neeraj Bhargava.
The Dignitaries included the Chief Guest Padmashree Dr B R Shetty, Chairman of Board of Governors, Abu Dhabi Indian School, Other Board Members, Jashanmal, Founder Chairman of ADIS, Sudhir Shetty, President of UAE Exchange, President of ISC, Officials from the Embassy of India, Principals from various schools, Students and teachers from Other Nationality Schools, a large number of parents and students. It was a spectacular sight to see all students, Guests, parents and teachers joining together to sing Vande Mataram waving the Indian Tricolour flag at the end filling the entire ground.
