Adithya Rao remanded in judicial custody
Mangaluru: The Sixth Judicial Magistrate First Class Court on Saturday remanded Adithya Rao, who had planted an explosive at Mangalore International Airport (MIA), in judicial custody for 14 days.
The explosive was detected on the airport premises on January 20. Adithya had surrendered in the Office of DGP in Bengaluru on January 22.
He was produced before the court on January 23 and was remanded to policy custody for 10 days. As the police custody had ended on Saturday, he was produced before the court.With police not seeking an extension of police custody, Judge Kishore Kumar K N remanded Adithya in judicial custody for a period of 14 days.
