After ‘Operation Kamala’ fails, BJP Leaders Ashamed and Avoiding Yeddyurappa – Mohammed Kunhi

Mangaluru: “Former CM of Karnataka Yeddyurappa tried his best to buy MLAs of the other parties by offering them a huge amount of money through operation Kamala. But this time, he has failed in his attempts. BJP leaders are now ashamed and are avoiding Yeddyurappa”, said the District president of JD(S) Mohammed Kunhi in a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands here on February 16.

Addressing the mediapersons Mohammed Kunhi said, “We condemn the insensitive remarks by Preetham Gowda against Deve Gowda. His remarks are an insult to the country, being a BJP MLA Preetham Gowda should not have made such insensitive remarks. Yeddyurappa won the elections through operation Kamala but this time his operation failed and his own party leaders are condemning his act. BJP leaders are now avoiding Yeddyurappa”.

Mohammed Kunhi further said, “Yeddyurappa tried to buy our MLAs by keeping them in Mumbai but this time he failed in his attempts. BJP leaders are feeling shy after the failure of operation Kamala. In the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections JD(S) and the Congress will field winning candidates in Karnataka and win the elections.”

Former minister Amarnath Shetty, JD(S) spokesperson Sushil Noronha, Vasanth Poojary, Akshith Suvarna and others were also present.
