After war between Cong-BJP EC removes ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ and Chowkidar Stickers from Vehicles
Udupi: After continues war between the Congress and BJP workers in connection to the ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ and Chowkidar stickers, the election commission has removed the stickers from the vehicles of both the party workers.
After the Congress party workers had placed the stickers on their cars, war between the two party workers began on Facebook and other social media platforms. Workers then started fighting, bringing up personal issues. The Udupi Congress, BJP Chowkidar campaign went viral within two days in the social media.
When the news of the social media war came to the notice of the election commission the deputy commissioner and district chief election officer Hephsiba Rani Korlapati instructed the area flying squad officers to remove the stickers as per the guidelines of the election commission.
As per the order of the deputy commissioner, the area flying squad officers removed the stickers from the vehicles of both the party leaders.
