Agumbe ghat closed for heavy vehicles till Oct 15
Shivamogga: The district administration has banned movement of heavy vehicles on Agumbe Ghat from June 15 to October 15 following onset of monsoon.
In a press note, Deputy Commissioner K B Shivakumar said heavy vehicles will have to take Thirthahalli-Koppa-Sringeri-Malaghat-Karkala (National Highway 169) route or Shivamogga-Thirthahalli, Mastikatte-Siddapura-Kundapura to reach Udupi (State Highway 56).
