AIBP Alleges Israel behind ISIS, Says Islam is Peace-Loving
Mangaluru: “Terrorist attacks are occurring both inside and outside India. Terrorist forces are committing terrible crimes and killing innocent people in the name of religion. If all of us don’t join together and condemn such acts, then the future will be very difficult. Our youth are also falling prey to terrorism. Since the youth do not have proper jobs, they are ready to die for some kind of change. This is the state that we are presently in. The terrorist forces are taking advantage of this and misleading the youth. Some of these forces assume Muslim names and some others assume Hindu names. The definition of Islam translates to peace. Whoever opposes peace is excluded from the religion of Islam”, said former President of All India Beary Parishath Mohammed Haneef in a press meet held at the Capital Avenue Building, State bank here, on May 2.
Addressing the mediapersons Haneef said, “The New Zealand attacker killed Muslims in the name of Christianity. Similarly, the Sri Lankan attackers killed Christians in the name of Muslims. In Kashmir, 50 CRPF jawans were killed in a terrorist attack and just yesterday, there was another attack by Naxalites that killed police forces in Maharashtra. All of this is happening in a ‘tit for tat’ manner. The negative forces in the world are orchestrating these attacks. Everyone knows who is killing who, but the silent supporters of such attacks must also be exposed. Everyone knows about ISIS. They are being backed by Israel. This is being done in order to ruin the reputation of Muslims. A few Muslim youths are also joining them. I appeal to parents to keep an eye on their children especially when they go overseas for work.”
Haneef further said, “We fully condemn the recent attacks that took place in Sri Lanka as well as the attacks in Kashmir and Maharashtra. Muslim adults must be aware of what their children are doing and the Muslim youth should be well informed and they should work towards building a peaceful society.”
When asked if the mere condemnation of terrorist activity was sufficient to stop it, Haneef said, “Now, Ramzan is coming up. During Ramzan time, when people visit the mosque to pray, the Muslim clerics will deliver speeches on the dangers of terrorism. Such lecture programs will be conducted in the afternoon as well as in the evening.”
In his statement to the press, Haneef had alleged that ISIS was being backed by the state of Israel. When asked to prove his allegations, he said, “There is a long history of Israel acting against Muslims. No Muslim is accepting ISIS as their own. Another interesting reason is that ISIS has attacked several countries but there have been no ISIS attacks in Israel. To clarify, I am not saying that there should be an ISIS attack in Israel.”
DK Zilla Muslim Sanghatanegala Okkuta President K Ashraf, Siddique Farooq, Ishan Fakir Mohammed, Abdul Khader, and others were also present.
