All the Best Students! Amid COVID-19 fear SSLC Exams Begin in 51 Centres across Udupi District
Udupi: Amid the fear of COVID-19, the SSLC examinations began smoothly in the district on June 25.
The Udupi district administration and the department of public instruction has taken all the necessary precautionary measures for the smooth conduct of the SSLC examinations from June 25. Thirteen thousand five hundred twenty-six students are answering the exams in 51 centres.
Five hundred eighty-nine students who are studying in Udupi and have returned to their native places following COVID-19 will write their exams in the centres identified outside the district at their native places.
Every student was subjected to thermal scanning and was provided with hand sanitiser before entering the examination hall. All precautionary measures were followed. Care was taken to see that the students did not form groups. Students wore masks and applied sanitisers. The temperature of all the students was checked prior to the examinations.
Zilla Panchayat CEO Preethi Gehelot personally visited the Volakadu Government High School and inspected the examination centre sanitising system, thermal screening system etc.
