Alva’s College bags 1st Place in Inter-Collegiate Women’s Basketball Tournament
Mangaluru: St Aloysius College (Autonomous)Mangalore organized university level intercollegiate, Basketball tournament for women 2017-18 on 5th January 2018 at the Basketball court Jane Sequeira, sister of Joyce Pais was the guest of honour, along with John Sherra, Vice-Principal (Xavier Block), and Rajaram, Volleyball Coach who wished the teams all the best and inaugurated the tournament. The tournament kick-started with St Agnes College Mangalurucompeting against St Annamma College, Virajpet.
Alva’s College, Moodbidri secured the first position followed by St Annamma College, Virajpet and St.Aloysius College, Mangaluru team won second and third respectively.
Dr AM Narahari, Registrar,St Aloysius College, Mangaluru, Mrs. Jane Sequeira sister of Joyce Pais, Dr Gerald Santhosh D’Souza, Asst. Director of Physical Education, Mangaluru University presided over the valedictory programme.
