Alva’s hosts Online Faculty Development Programme by IIIT-A

Moodbidri: If every teacher thinks beyond his difficulties and behaves accordingly as the true motive of education, a student’s overall progress is probable, said IIIT Allahabad, Director, Dr. P. Nagabhushan. He was speaking after inaugurating One day online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “How to Improve the Quality in Teaching Learning Process”, in association with Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A)

Most of our educational institutions work under the purview of Universities, which restrict them to execute their ideas and novelties, despite these constraints, teachers need to work beyond their limitations. He added and said, a teacher must evaluate himself/herself at every task in every stage and he should plan, think and accomplish to set a goal in the teaching/learning process. He said that students need to be educated how to apply the knowledge they gained in life. In the process, a teacher needs to give importance for dialogue kind of sessions in the class instead of switching to monologue sessions. Alva’s Education Foundation Trustee Vivek Alva said, Alva’s is utilizing all its academic linkages and MoU’s to envisage the best learning atmosphere in the campus.
