Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons in a press meet held at Mangaluru Press Club, Dr Mohan Alva (Chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation) said, ” Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri will host the eleventh edition of the mega placement drive – Alva’s Pragati 2019 at Vidyagiri Campus, Moodbidri on 21st and 22nd June 2019″.
He further said, “Alva’s Pragati 2019 features the participation of top recruiters representing major sectors such as IT, ITeS, Manufacturing, Health Care and Pharma, Sales and Retail, Automobile, Banking and Finance, Hospitality, Education, and NGO. These sectors offer a large number of openings for Graduates and Post Graduates in various streams such as Medical and Para-Medical, Engineering, Arts, Commerce & Management, Basic Sciences, Nursing, ITI, Diploma, skilled manpower with PUC & SSLC and other qualifications.”

Alva’s Pragati 2019 expects a participation of 200 companies this year and around 15000-20000 aspirants are expected to participate within the state and adjoining states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana etc. In 2018, 183 companies and 8347 students had participated and 1326 spot offers were made. 3947 students were shortlisted for various profiles in prestigious companies.
