Abhaychandra Jain inaugurates ‘Envi Green Miss and Mrs Mangaluru 2018’ – Live
Mangaluru: The Rego Events organized ‘Envi Green Miss and Mrs Mangaluru 2018’ at the City Beach here on December 23.
The programme was inaugurated by former MLA Abhaychandra Jain by lighting the traditional lamp along with other dignitaries on the dais.
Addressing the gathering Abhaychandra Jain said, “I am very happy to be a part of this event because this programme is unique. Recently organizer Joyce Rego along with all the 24 contestants visited Valpadi Village to distribute rice, school bags, drawing kits and blankets to the children of the Government School in Anegudde. I wish all the contestants all the very best and success to Joyce and her team.”
Speaking on the occasion L Goel said, “It is really surprising that the beauty pageant is taking place with the motto of charity. The day before yesterday all the participants had visited a Valpadi village to distribute the school bags and other accessories to the school children. I have seen the joy on the face of the children when they received the school bags, blankets and drawing kits. I was present there along with Abhaychandra Jain and seen the happiness on the faces of the little children for which the all the credit goes to Joyce Rego. When we talk about the beauty and charity pageant it is required since the winners will compete in the national and international level. All the finalists are the winners because after a rigorous audition they have been selected. I wish all the best to all the finalists as well as the organizers.” 
Amith Kumar, In-charge for Securities Airport Authority Mangaluru also spoke on the occasion. Organizer Rego Events Joyce Rego, Trustee of Rejoyce Mustard Garden John Rego, Parivarthan Transqueen 2018 Sanjana, Sarita, Vikas Puthran and others were also present.
