Amasebailu Police Arrest Four for Cattle Trafficking, 52 Buffaloes Rescued

Kundapur: The Amasebailu Police arrested four persons in connection with cattle trafficking and rescued 52 buffaloes at the Hosangadi check post here on September 15.

The arrested have been identified as Mehboob (27) and Imran from Davangere, Asif and Bapu Saheb (46) from Belagavi.

According to the police, on September 15, while the police were on patrol at Hosangadi check post, they stopped two trucks coming from Shivamogga for checking. While checking, they found 52 buffaloes loaded inhumanely in both the trucks.

The police arrested four persons and rescued 52 buffaloes from their possession. During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused were transporting buffaloes from Haveri to Mangaluru.

The Amasebailu Police have registered a case and investigation on.
