Amid COVID-19 fear Second PU English Exams Begin in 27 Centres across Udupi District
Udupi: The second-year pre-university English examinations began smoothly in Udupi district on June 18. The examinations that were postponed on account of COVID-19 will be held in 27 centres across the district.
In all, 13563 students from the district appear in 27 centres for the examinations. 1344 students from Udupi have chosen to write their exams in the centres close to their place of residence. 163 students from other districts have also chosen to write their exams in Udupi district following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Students will undergo thermal screening at the entrance of the examination centres. If any student is suffering from fever, they will write the examinations in a separate room. Two rooms in each examination centre have been reserved for the purpose.
The Udupi district administration has made arrangements for 91 KSRTC buses on 61 routes to help students reach examination centres to answer the exams.
