Amit Shah to Address BJP Leaders in City on October 4
Mangaluru: “On October 2, at 6:00 pm, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the MP of Gujarat Amit Shah will reach Mangaluru International Airport. BJP leaders and the party workers will welcome Amit Shah at the airport. More than 300 vehicles will reach the airport to welcome him and later take him in Vehicle procession to the Kerala Border. On October 2, Amit Shah will stay overnight in Kerala and on October 3rd he will take part in the Padayatra in Kerala. On October 3 night, Amit Shah will be back to Mangaluru”, said the District President of BJP Sanjeev Matandoor in a press meet held at the BJP office here on September 30.
Addressing the mediapersons Sanjeev Matandoor said, “On October 4, the party leaders meeting will be held at 10:00 am at Hotel Ocean Pearl. On the same day, at 5:00 pm a programme will be held at the Dr TMA Pai convention hall where Amit Shah will meet the doctors, lawyers, educationists, bank officers, Charted accountants etc. On October 5, Amit Shah will continue his journey.”
Sanjeev further said, “The BJP had organized a padayatra on Oct 2, against the insult to Koti-Chennaya’s mother Deyi Baidethi but it has now been postponed because of Amit Shah’s arrival to Mangaluru. We will be holding the Padayatra on October 10 from the Mahalingeshwar Temple to Padumale Deyi Baidethi Vana.”
Sanjeev Matandoor also said, “We condemn the arrest of Jagadish Karanth for delivering a speech during a party meeting. In Dakshina Kannada, an undeclared emergency situation has been created”.
Kishore Rai, Sanjay Prabhu, Capt Brijesh Chowta, Monappa Bhandary, Pooja Pai, Vedavyas Kamath, Prabha Malini and others were also present.
