Amit Shah should Answer BJP’s Failure Fulfilling Pre-poll Promises – Vishwas Shetty
Addressing the media persons Vishwas Shetty said that the BJP national president Amit Shah is visiting the Udupi district which known for communal harmony. On behalf of the Udupi district the congress IT Cell is welcoming Amit Shah to Udupi district wholeheartedly. But during his Udupi district visit he should answer the questions of the common peoples. He should clarify the BJP government’s failure in fulfilling the promises which they had made before the Lok Sabha elections, he added.
Vishwas Shetty further said that the BJP before the Lok Sabha polls had assured that they will bring ‘Acche Din’ in the country. It is unfortunate that even after completing four years in power the BJP has failed to fulfill the pre-poll promises. Amit Shah’s Son Jay Shah’s company Temple Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., which was making losses until 2014, saw an increase of 16,000 times in turnover after the Modi government came to power. Amit Shah should give an answer to the public of when the Modi government will start an enquiry on Jay Shah’s illegal income.
Vishwas Shetty also demanded Amit Shah to speak out on the Rs 11,000 crore Punjab National Bank fraud involving celebrity diamond jeweller Nirav Modi. While campaigning for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Narendra Modi had promised to bring back the black money stashed abroad, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not keen to do anything about it.
There have been more terrorism-related deaths of our Soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) since the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party government (BJP) came to power in May 2014. Narendra Modi is always speaking about transparency but he has failed to implement the Jan Lokpal Bill, he added.
Hitting at the Local MP Shobha Karandlaje, Vishwas Shetty said that the local MP has failed to address the problems of the people. People of Udupi–Chikkamagaluru have started to search for MP Shobha Karanldaje but she is missing since the last 4 years. She is not available in her loka sabha constituency. The national president should answer these questions, he demanded.
