Ananth Kumar Hegde should learn to Control his Tongue – Bhoje Gowda

Udupi: Newly elected south-west teachers constituency MLC S L Bhoje Gowda said that the Union minister Ananth Kumar Hegde should learn to control his tongue or else we too know how to reply to his cheap jibes against opposition parties.

Addressing the media persons at a press meet held at the Press Club on June 30, Bhoje Gowda said, “Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde had commented on the opposition parties as ‘crows, monkeys and foxes. As a union minister he should have some culture but he has been repeatedly passing unwanted comments against the opposition parties. If he does not stop his loose talk, our tongues are also sharp and can reply to him in kind”.

Bhoje Gowda further said, “During the BJP’s first state executive committee meeting BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa asked his leaders to buy Congress and JD(S) MLA’s who were interested to leave their party. B S Yeddyurappa is a senior most leader in politics and I have great respect for him. He should not indulge in such cheap tactics in the party. Differences are common in every government.  Before the elections, we fight for the majority but since we did not get the majority we formed the Congress and JD(S) coalition government in the state. Now the Congress and JD(S) are one, the coalition government in the state will complete its full five-year term. What others are talking outside is irrelevant”, he said.

Udupi district JD(S) president Yogish Shetty and other leaders were present.
