Annual Feast of St Anthony Ashram -Second & Third Day of Triduum
Mangaluru : Fr James D’souza the Parish Priest of St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia celebrated the Holy Mass on the second day (Tuesday, 11-06-2019) of Triduum at 6 p.m. at Milagres Church.
In his message, quoting the Scripture, he said those work to establish peace among men are blessed. Money and wealth doesn’t bring happiness. There are people in the society who try to destroy peace. But at the same time there are also people of good will who work to bring peace. Jesus when He came into the world He preached peace and also shared with His disciples the gift of peace. May Jesus be our model and let us work after the example of Jesus to bring peace in society.
Fr Onil D’Souza the Director of the Ashram conducted the novena. The Assistant Directors of Ashram Fr Thrishan D’Souza , Fr Roshan D’Souza and large number of devotees participated in today’s devotion
Annual Feast of St Anthony Ashram – Third Day of Triduum
The third day of Triduum in preparation for the annual feast was celebrated at Milagres Church, on 12th June 2019. Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop Emeritus of Mangalore was the main Celebrant. He prayed for the families of the devotees and blessed all the faithful present.
Designate Director of ICYM (Youth)of the diocese preached the homily. Everyone expects good from others. As such we should be the first to do good to others, and then expect others to do good to us.
Fr. Onil D’Souza, the Director of the Shrine led the Novena prayers. Assistant Directors of the Institute, Fathers Thrishan D’Souza and Roshan D’Souza were present along with more than a thousand devotees.
