Mangaluru: A 20-year-old youth was assaulted by miscreants at Akkarepete,Thokkottu here on April 29.
The injured has been identified as Dhanraj (20), a resident of T C Road.
According to sources, Dhanaraj was on his way to Thokkottu on his Activa, near the Church Road, two persons came on a motorbike and attacked Dhanraj with machetes.
Dhanraj has been admitted to the Netaji hospital with injuries on his shoulder. The youth left the machetes and fled from the spot.
A case has been registered in Ullal police station.
