Anti-rowdy Squad Arrests Shivaraj Murder Accused
Mangaluru: On getting reliable information, the Panambur and Mangaluru North police from the Anti-rowdy squad arrested the accused in Shivaraj murder case in the city on February 24.
The accused has been identified as Manoj alias Manu (39) from Sadashiva Nagar Suratkal.
On January 22, Shivaraj Karkera was murdered in Bokkapatna Bengre and the police have already arrested 10 of the accused in this case. Manoj had encouraged the accused to commit the crime and was absconding after the crime. On February 24, Manoj was arrested in the city.
Under the direction of Police Commissioner T R Suresh and the guidance of DCP Law and order Hanumantharaya, DCP Uma Prashanth and under the leadership of ACP of North Division Rajendra D S, the operation was carried out by Panambur Police Inspector Rafiq K M and the police from the Anti-rowdy Squad.
