Arya Samaj leader Swami Agnivesh (80) dies of Multiple Organ Failure
New Delhi: 80-year-old Arya Samaj leader, Swami Agnivesh passed away after suffering from multiple organ failure at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi here on September 11.
Swami Agnivesh was suffering from liver cirrhosis and was admitted to the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences for treatment.
He was on ventilator support. On September 11, he breathed his last without responding to the treatment.
Hospital sources said that on September 11, Swamiji’s condition deteriorated. At 6:00 pm, he suffered cardiac arrest and at 6:30 pm breathed his last.
Swami Agnivesh was the former MLA of Haryana.
