Ashok from Bengaluru Dies in Bus-Car Collision at Kolpe
Uppinangady: One person died and two others were seriously injured after a bus collided head-on into a Toyota Etios car at Kolpe Nelyadi here, on June 19.
The deceased has been identified as Ashok Reddy, a native of Bengaluru.
According to the police, Ashok Reddy along with 4 others were travelling towards Mangaluru on the car. At Kolpe Nelyadi, a KSRTC bus plying towards Bengaluru collided head-on into the car.
Ashok died on the spot and two others have been seriously injured. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, their condition is said to be critical. Uppinangady police have reached the spot.
A case has been registered in Uppinangady police station.
