ASSA Samiti Releases ‘Sadaabhinandane’ Invitation to Celebrate Sadananda Shetty’s 75 Birthday
Mangaluru: A Sadananda Shetty Abhinandana Samiti released the invitation of Sadananda Shetty’s 75th birthday celebrations “Sadaabhinandane”, here on August 22.
The programme began with an invocation. General Secretary of Sadananda Shetty Abhinandana Samiti Leelaksha Karkera welcomed the gathering. Navneet Shetty delivered the keynote address.
The invitation was released by the Honorary President K Amarnath Shetty and President Dr Mohan Alva along with other dignitaries on the dais.
Addressing the gathering Dr Mohan Alva said, “Sadananda Shetty has contributed immensely to the society. To encourage athletes he has organized various sports meets. His contribution towards the society is tremendous. While he is celebrating his 75th birthday it is our duty to recognise his selfless service and honour him. We have got a rare opportunity to felicitate such a great personality.”
On September 2, the Sadaabhinandane programme will start at 9:30 am at the Alva’s Nudisiri Vedike Vidyagiri and will conclude by 1:30 pm. Political leaders, Social activists, well-wishers of Sadananda Shetty from all over the world will take part in this programme. More than 150 distinguished guests will occupy the dais to honour Sadananda Shetty. As a mark of respect to Sadananda Shetty, Sri Shastavu Bhootanatheshwar Trust® led by Vijaynath Vittal Shetty is organizing wrestling competitions for men and women at Moodbidri on September 1″.
Rajagopal Rai briefed on the arrangements of the programme. Saiheel Rai and Nitesh Yekkar compered the programme. Chittharanajan Rai, Ramachandra Shetty Kodyan, Sureshchandra Shetty, M Ganesh Shetty, Sudhakar Shetty, Vijayalakshmi Shetty, Laxman Shetty Kavoor, Kiran Jogi, Jithendra Kottari, Patla Satish Shetty and Aruva Koragappa Shetty were also present.
