The parents said that their son Sandeep had been attending Catechism classes in preparation for receivin the first holy communion in Fatima Church, Peruai. During the class, Fr Andrew D’Costa is said to have asked some questions based on the Bible, which Sandeep failed to answer.

Angered by this, the priest beat the boy with a stick. After the class, Sandeep went home and told his parents that he would not attend the catechism classes anymore as he was beaten by Fr Andrew with a stick.

Sandeep’s uncle immediately informed the Childline and the members of United Christians’ Association. He also filed a complaint against the priest in the Vittal police station.

As soon as the FIR was registered, the police visited the church but Fr D’Costa was not available. Speaking to mangalorean.com, the Vittal police said that they had registered a case under section 324 IPC and the Juvenile Justice Act, based on the statement of the child.

Andrew is a Priest or a Beast. I am sure many Senior Citizens who studied in St.Aloysius High School in 50’s and 60 should remember how the Jesuit Priests behaved like beasts. Teachers will send young students to Headmaster Priest for not doing home work or some misbehavior. There in His office ,this Priest will beat the Student with a long Cane few times. Some time this beast Priest will beat the Student in front of whole Classroom Students. What a shame that Student had felt taking beating in front of His Friends.
