Assault on HJV leader at Subramanya, Chaitra Kundapur gets Conditional Bail
Mangaluru: Chaitra Kundapur and her associates were arrested for assaulting HJV leader Guruprasad on October 24. In this connection, Chaitra and her associates were arrested by the Subramanya police on the same day.
On October 25, Chaitra and her associates were produced before the court and sent to judicial custody.
On November 3, Chaitra did not attend the court giving the reasons of poor health. On November 5, Chaitra was produced before the court accompanied by the doctor who had treated her.
The Sullia court has extended her judicial custody for fourteen days.
At the same time, Chaitra had applied for bail in the Puttur Court. The court has granted conditional bail for Chaitra. After 11 days of Judicial Custody, Chaitra will be released tonight.
