Assistant Headmaster Arrested under POCSO Act
Mangaluru: An assistant Headmaster from a government School was arrested under the POCSO Act here on October 16.
The arrested has been identified as Nadir (40) a resident of Olamogru, Puttur.
According to the police on October 14, a student of the government School Puttur came to the school to pay her examination fees. During that time, the accused sexually abused the girl.
The girl filed a complaint in the Puttur Rural police station. Based on the complaint, the Puttur Rural police arrested Nasir under the POCSO Act and under Section 354(A)(1) (iv). Investigation is on in this regard.
