ATL SAMCON Bags SSQ KPL-2 Cup Organized by SAB Sports Academy
Saudi Arabia: ATL SAMCON is the Champion at SSQ KPL Season-2 after defeating Al AITHAN Team in the final match at SABSA ground, Rakah-Al Khobar Saudi Arabia.
This is one of the Biggest Cricket event in Saudi Arabia organized by SAB Sports Academy under the Leadership of Sadiq Kaup assisted by Mohd Iqbal and Fayaz Mohd with the support and guidance of Salahuddin Salman, chairman of SAB.
The event was inaugurated by the CEO of SSQ Muhammed Hussain on Thursday 27 October 2016.
16 teams from KSA participated, they are (Yanbu, Riyadh, Al Khobar and Jubail) as well as a team from Qatar.
In a colorful closing ceremony, ATL SAMCON was awarded a shining KPL Trophy with a cash prize of Rs 6 lakh and AL AITHAN team bagged the runner-up position with a cash prize of Rs 2.5 lakh and the KPL runners trophy. The two semi-finalists awarded the Trophy with cash of Rs 75,000 each are SAB Warriors and AMACO.

Salahuddin Salman from SAB Warriors was crowned man of the Series with a Pulser motorbike. Raees from Al Aithan bagged the best batsman of the tournament. Sampath of Al Aithan was awarded the best bowler of the tournament.
The special award for the most disciplined team went to AMACO Jubail for their valuable co-operation throughout the tournament.
MLA Moideen Bawa appreciated the organizers and sponsors for holding such an excellent tournament to promote the game of cricket in Saudi Arabia.
SAB Chairman Salahuddin Salman and Mohammed Hussain CEO of SSQ wished all the players and organizers during the closing ceremony.
Tawoos Faleh Qahtani, Asif, Syed Ashraf, Aboobakkar, Mubeen, Shakeel Saleh Al Saleh, Rehman, Sachin, Gopal Shetty- and others were present.
Mansoor M.H welcomed the gathering. Samad Jubail and Mansoor added more life to the match with their commentary. Sadiq Kaup delivered the Vote of thanks.
