‘Attack on Lokayukta Justice is ‘Sheer Negligence’ of Goonda Raj’ Cong Govt’-BJP

Mangaluru : Coming down heavily on the state government for the attack on Lokayukta Justice P Vishwanth Shetty, saying that law and order had completely collapsed in the state

former president of Dakshina Kannada unit of BJP K Monappa Bhandary said the incident was yet another example of “lawlessness” in the state by the “Goondagiri” Congress government. “If a man gets a courage to attack the Lokayukta itself shows how bad the situation is in the state. Karnataka has become a ‘Goonda Raj’ or call it “Goondagiri ‘under the CM Siddaramaiah. If a judge can be stabbed in broad daylight like this, one wonders where we are living. Is this a goonda raj? On one hand the government weakened the Lokayukta – now this. When the government can’t even protect the Lokayukta, how can it protect the people of the state,” added Bhandary.

He further said, “Apart from attacks on innocent Hindus since the Congress came to power, there had been also continued attacks on bureaucrats and police officials. Now a judge has been attacked. Who will be next? It is kind of scary for government officials to be in their offices, when the government is not providing enough security. CM should take complete responsibility for this. The government that cannot provide security to the honourable judge is not fit to continue in power even for a minute. Governor has to immediately take action. Nowhere in the country, the sitting Lokayukta has been attacked.”

“The law and order situation in the state is deteriorating day by day. The increasing cases of murder, atrocities against Dalits and dacoity, is Siddaramaiah government’s record. The chief minister has to give an explanation to the people of the state. Governor should take cognisance and legal action against the CM and he should resign on moral grounds. This incident is a mockery to democracy. If no action is taken, BJP will intensify our fight till justice is served” added Monappa Bhandary.

BJP leaders, including Vedavyas Kamath also spoke and lashed out at CM Siddaramaiah’s government for the attack on Lokayukth justice, and warned that more protests will be planned if no proper action is taken and strict security is enforced at government offices, for the safety of the authorities, who are risking their lives under the ‘Goonda Raj’ Congress government.

You BJP Guys allowed Goondas from other states to come and preach violence in a peaceful state. The CE of UP could not even control deaths of children in his own constituency, could not control murder of people in the name of cow, could not control rioting in his own state, was invited to speak in Karnataka. Please weigh these added notorious options before you come to the conclusion. If Bjp comes to power, we will add one more gooda raj in Karnataka.
