Attempt on Sharat Madival’s Murder Accused, Three Arrested
Bantwal: The Bantwal police have arrested three persons in connection with the attempt to murder of Sharat Madival’s murder accused on September 4.
The accused have been identified as Yatina Kalladka, Raju Kumpanamajal and Manish Kodikere. The search is on for the other six accused from Sajipa and Kodikere.
According to sources, On August 7, when Shariff from Sajipa Munnur was on his way by bike to the Masjid, a group which came in a car, crashed the vehicle into Shariff’s motorbike. Shariff smelling danger fled from the spot and later filed a complaint in the Bantwal police station.
During investigations, it revealed that on the same day the same group had gone to Kinnigoli, Ullanje and tried to kill the accused in Suratkal Deepak Rao’s murder case.
In 2017 Raju and Manish were involved in the Pratap Poojary murder case in Kankanady. They are engaged in various crimes, and cases have been registered against them in different police stations. The accused were later produced before the court.
Under the guidance of DySP of Bantwal Valentine D’Souza and Bantwal Circle Inspector T D Nagaraj, the operation was carried out by the Bantwal Town Police SI Avinash and team.
