Attempt to Rob Jewellery Shop Fails, Thieves ransack Medical Shop at Kapikad
Mangaluru: Thieves striking into a medical shop in an attempt to enter the adjacent Jewellery shop and a co-operative bank was reported in the early hours of October 2, at Bejai Kapikad.
According to the shop owner of Medi Plus, during the early hours of October 2, thieves attempted to enter the Jewellery shop by digging through the toilet wall of Medi Plus but failed in their attempt to enter the Jewellery shop. The medical shop was totally ransacked.
The incident came to light when the Medical shop owner opened the shutter. He was shocked to see a big hole dug in the wall. Immediately he informed the Urwa police.
The canine squad and fingerprint experts reached the spot and are investigating.
A case has been registered in Urwa police station.
