Auto Driver Dies after Auto Rickshaw hits Parked Car
Udupi: A 44-year-old Auto driver was killed when his auto rammed into a parked car at Gundibail near Kalsanka here on October 20.
The deceased has been identified as Sunil (44), a resident of Moodbettu, Udupi.
According to the police, Sunil was carrying passengers in his autorickshaw from Ambagilu to Udupi. When he reached Nagana Katte at Gundibailu, the autorickshaw rammed into a parked Zen car when Sunil lost control over it. Due to the impact, auto driver Sunil was thrown to the road and seriously injured. Sunil was rushed to the hospital but was declared brought dead.
A case has been registered in the Udupi Town Police Station, and the investigation is on.
