Auto Driver injured in auto-car collision at Parkala
Udupi: An auto driver was seriously injured in a collision between an autorickshaw and a car near Devi Nagar of Parkala on Friday, September 1.
The accident occurred when the autorickshaw, which was returning to Manipal after dropping the passengers was hit by a Ritz car which was coming from the opposite direction. The auto driver lost control and the auto overturned.
Auto driver Jayakar Shetty was seriously injured and rushed to the Manipal Hospital. The autorickshaw has been totally damaged.
Manipal Police visited the spot and are investigating.
