B Sachidananda Shetty, aged 82, Brother of Dr B R Shetty Passes away in Bengaluru Hospital
Mangaluru: : Bavaguthu Sachidananda Shetty, aged 82, beloved elder brother of renowned NRI entrepreneur Dr B R Shetty, passed away early morning on Saturday, March 28 at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru. B S Sachidananda’s residence in Mangaluru is near C V Nayak Hall, Kadri road, Mangaluru, where he lived with his two sons, Dr Sishir ( Professor at A B Shetty Dental College) and Shirish ( Engineer). His daughter Dr Shilpa Shetty is working at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, while other daughter, Dr Shirla Hegde, is working at a hospital in United Kingdom.
In November 2019, S S Shetty had moved to Bengaluru for treatment due to illness. Before he retired he was the manager at Life Insurance Company (LIC) in Mangaluru Office. Currently, he was the Chairman of World Bunts Foundation Trust. Family is making arrangements to bring his body for final rites in his birth place -‘Bavaguthu’, Kaup in Udupi District, which could take place on Sunday, 29 March 2020.
