Bajpe Police Arrest Five in 20-year-old Keerthi Murder Case
Mangaluru: The Bajpe police arrested five persons on June 2, in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old youth at Devearagudda, Bajpe on May 31.
The arrested have been identified as Deepesh, Suhas Shetty, Prashanth alias Pacchu, Mokshith and Dhanaraj.
According to the police, on May 31, at around 7:45 pm Deepesh, Suhas Shetty, Gautam, Umanath, Prashanth and three others came to Devaragudde and started to fight with Nithin Poojary, Manish Jogi and Keerthi. They also assaulted them with iron roads and stabbed all the three. In the assault, Keerthi was severely injured and rushed to the hospital, but he breathed his last on the way.
Nithin and Manish are admitted to a hospital in the city for further treatment. In this connection, a case was registered in the Bajpe police station.
