Bajrang Dal Leader arrested in Girl’s Kidnap Case
Mangaluru: The Bajrang Dal leader has been arrested by the Mumbai police in connection with the kidnap of a College student.
The arrested has been identified as Sunil Pumpwell, leader of Bajrang Dal.
According to sources, the student studying in a college in Mangaluru was in love with a youth from the other faith. She had married him and was residing in Mumbai. The family members later brought the girl back from Mumbai saying that the boy belonged to the other religion.
Her husband then filed a Habeas corpus in the Mumbai Court saying that his wife was kidnapped and requested the court to find her.
Based on the complaint the Mumbai police arrested Sunil Pumpwell and have taken him to Mumbai for further investigations.
