Puttur: Muhammed B (55), a resident of Balila near Bellare in Sullia taluk, died of critical injuries sustained in a road mishap on Wednesday night.
He had opened a shop in Ishwaramangala about six months ago and would commute between home and shop everyday. After closing business that night, he was on his way home.
When he reache Kuntikana in Perlampadi, his bike skidded severely injured. First he was taken to a hospital in Puttur. Then while being taken to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment, he breathed his last.
A case has been registered in the Puttur rural police station in Sampya.
