Kathmandu, Dec 20 (IANS) Bangladesh took the AFC Under-14 Girls’ Regional Football Championship title for the south and central zone, defeating Nepal 1-0 on Sunday.
Marzia scored the winning goal in the 16th minute to help Bangladesh win the title for the first time, reports Xinhua.
Bangladesh had defeated Iran while Nepal had beaten India in the semi-finals.
Seven teams, including India, Bhutan, Maldives, Iran and Sri Lanka, participated in the championship.
